Why We Built This Site
Florida keeps most jail and inmate information open to the public, so the real obstacle is rarely secrecy. It is knowing where the record lives. In Lee County the Sheriff's Office runs the local jail roster, which covers people awaiting court and those serving short county sentences. Once a person is sentenced to state prison, a different agency takes over, the Florida Department of Corrections, with its own statewide locator. Federal and immigration detainees show up in yet other systems run by the Bureau of Prisons and ICE. We built this site to bring those rosters, locators, contact numbers, visitation rules, and records-request steps into one organized place, so a family member is not bouncing between half a dozen unfamiliar websites during a stressful week.
What You Will Find Here
Each page focuses on a single task and points to the official source behind it. Together they cover the most common reasons people search for a Lee County inmate.
- Inmate lookup help across jail inmate records, jail roster mugshots, and court records after a jail arrest.
- A dedicated page for each detention facility in Lee County, with its address, phone, and visitation details.
- Step-by-step instructions for the Sheriff's Arrest Search and the statewide Florida inmate locator.
- Guidance on requesting a booking record or photo from the Sheriff and what response to expect.
What We Cannot Do
It is worth being plain about this. We are a privately run reference site with no link to the Lee County Sheriff's Office, any jail, the Florida Department of Corrections, or any other government agency. We do not operate the roster, and we cannot reach into anyone's case.
- We cannot release, hold, transfer, or move anyone in custody.
- We cannot post bond, schedule a visit, or send money for you.
- We cannot give legal advice.
- We cannot promise that every phone number, fee, or address stays current.
Only the Sheriff's Office or the corrections agency holding a person can confirm current custody status, charges, or release. This site can point you to the right roster, but the official answer comes from them.
Search Partners
Some pages include a search box powered by an outside provider that sets its own pricing and terms. When one of those tools leads to a paid signup, this site may earn a referral fee, which is what keeps the pages free to read. We do not control how those partner tools price their service or what their results contain, and using them is always your choice.
